Our company started off in 1968 in Freyre, a town located in the Northwest of the Province of Córdoba, Argentina, as a family business. First we came on the market under the name of Ferretería General Paz, retailer sales, within a local scope. As time went by, thanks to the unconditional support of our customers and the joint effort of the human group that makes up our company, the firm started to develop and thrive, which made us make the decision to exploit more and different commercial areas through the inclusion of several salespersons. In 1996 we stopped retailing and started to work exclusively with the distribution of hardware and hardware-related products. It was then, in July 2000, when our firm changed its name to Ferretera General Paz S.R.L. (Ferretera General Paz Ltd.)

Our experience and capacity have enabled us to break into the international market, which has given us access to products made abroad, making us direct importers from USA, India, Venezuela, Brazil, Spain, Switzerland, Colombia, Mexico, China and Taiwan, improving our product portfolio in variety and quality, enabling us to export to different parts of the world. One of the fundamental pillars of our organization is keeping a high and permanent stock, as well as including new products. That is why, in present times, we have more than 10,000 articles, both domestic and imported, meeting the requirements of each of our clients.
